The sombre and moving ANZAC Day Dawn Service at Stockade Hill had a huge turnout as did the Civic Service and the Parade in Howick. A grim reminder of those brave soldiers who shed their blood and lost their lives fighting gallantly, and, the lessons we learnt from fighting a futile war!
