Like always, the grand celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year hosted by the Federation of NZ Chinese Association had a great turnout.
From politicians to business leaders, association heads, delegates from the Chinese embassy, representatives from St John, Howick Local Board members, they were all there to celebrate the Year of the Dragon at the Grand Park Chinese Seafood Restaurant, Alexander Park.
The entertaining evening was testimony to the long-standing relationship that Steven Wong, the philanthropic chairman of the Federation of NZ Chinese Association has with community leaders.
Act Party leader, David Seymour acknowledged the wonderful connection between China and New Zealand and said that the event was a true a celebration as the countries add value to each other and are stronger together.
