The viral success of her song Paradise, featured in Netflix’s Lucifer in 2020, earned it the title of the ‘Pandemic Anthem’ by The Guardian.
Rocio’s independence as an artist has not hindered her reach on streaming platforms, where she features prominently on international playlists, with over 14 million streams and has secured a position in the Top 3 Shazam Global Discovery Charts.
Seamlessly blending profound lyrics, intricate piano arrangements, and a distinctive powerful voice, her environmental advocacy has her 2023 song Power In Us sending 100 per cent of its streaming revenue to Ocean Conservation, crossing the worlds of conservation and pop music on an international level.
Backed by some of the biggest names in conservation, her social media campaign for the Power In Us Project teamed Dr. Sylvia Earle’s Mission Blue with one of the world’s biggest digital music distribution platforms, Distrokid, as an addition to their #ArtistsForChange program.
